Free Will

Bob Feather October 13th, 2007

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

  1. Does God have free will?
  2. Does God have unlimited power?
  3. Does God have complete wisdom?
  4. Does God think and do only what is good and holy?

If the answer to all of these questions is “Yes”, then consider:

If God wills my salvation, then that is a good and holy choice.
If God wills my salvation, then He has the power to guarantee the outcome.
If God wills my salvation, then He already knows the obstacles that I may lay before Him.

God is so good and holy that He, with infinite wisdom, wills my salvation; and He is also good and holy when He wisely uses His unlimited divine power to convict me of my sin and my need to trust the Christ who gave His life as a ransom for sin- to save me.

American Thanksgiving

My favorite holiday of all. I like to ask people whether they celebrate Thanksgiving; and when they acknowledge that they do, I ask to whom they are thankful…

By the way, dinner is at 2:00 pm. at Grandma Feather’s.

Without further ado…

For the Christian all things are sacred.

All things belong to God who has given us stewardship responsibility over them. Hence nothing is secular or common.

This web site, for instance, should be seen first of all as an offering to the Sovereign who bids us proclaim His glory throughout the earth.

With thanksgiving to Him in whom we live and move and have our being, we invite you to peruse this our offering, with the certain confidence that if you will seek Him, you will find Him.
