2 Chronicles 24
- Joash was determined to restore Biblical worship to Judah (vs 1-4)
- Workmen were gathered and money was collected to assure completion of the project (vs 5-14)
- Following the death of his mentor, Jehoiada, king Joash strayed from the truth, and he was warned by God to return to his creator (vs 15-22)
- Joash is assassinated by two of his staff in judgment for his sin (vs 23-27)
